So I forgot my camera this day... Thank you to Jason for taking pictures for me! And it rained all day, hence the blue umbrella.
It was the strangest thing to see deer by the beach.

Outside of the floating shrine. We had to wait for the massive tour group to go inside before we could take any pictures.
Jason asked this British couple if they'd like him to take a picture of them and they returned the favor. I think they thought we were married and on vacation...
Torii gate. And if you look beyond the Torii gate you can see a ferry. Possibly the same one we rode to the island.

Old Japanese buildings.
This deer was successful at finding a place to stay dry.
This one was not.
Next time I will make the trek across the sand to the actual gate.
The deer... kind of creeped me out. They weren't moving.
